CMOS Sensor Endoscope Manufacturing

Myriad’s CMOS Sensor Endoscopes are manufactured using micro video cameras known as Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor utilizing the technologies high resolution capabilities. These micro CMOS cameras can capture high quality 400 x 400 resolution video at 30 frames per second (fps).  Other CMOS models that Myriad offers capture lower quality 250 x 250 resolution video at 42-55 frames per second.

The CMOS Sensors are designed for a wide range of endoscope applications, including medical, veterinarian, and industrial. Ideally instead of using quartz image fiber these endoscopes function by using very fine pin cable to transmit an image from the camera to a monitor.

Myriad has standard CMOS endoscope designs and welcomes customer’s to partner with Myriad to develop custom CMOS designs. Myriad has articulating capabilities as well as traditional endoscope designs.
