Fiber Scope Terminology
A Fiber Scope is a small flexible remote viewing device that consists of a fiber optic bundle with an eyepiece or camera on the proximal end and a lens on the distal end allowing the user to examine, and inspect inside the human body, or intended for industrial viewing.
A Fiber Scope consists of two types of fiber:
1.) Image Fiber- Designed to carry an image from the lens to an eyepiece.
2.) Illumination Fiber – Designed to carry light onto the object in front of the lens.

Myriad designes focus-able coupler’s for many of our standard endoscopes. We also offer Fiber Scopes with a Portable LED Light Source.

A fixed eyepiece is engineered with a preset focus versus the focus-able coupler which needs to be manually focused.
